Inventory

Know what is in the store

The cost of not knowing you already own a part is buying it twice, and discovering the first one during the next audit.

Building facade detail

What it does

Items live in locations, movements are recorded, and stock issued to a job is attached to that job. It is deliberately simple: enough to stop double-buying and to explain where the consumables went, without becoming a warehouse system nobody has time to feed.

  • Items across multiple stores and locations
  • Every movement recorded, in and out
  • Stock issued against a work order
  • Current holdings at a glance
  • Consumables and spares treated appropriately

Why it matters

Attached to the work

Parts issued to a job show against that job, so maintenance cost includes what it actually consumed.

Deliberately light

Enough structure to be accurate, little enough that a busy store keeper will actually keep it current.

Questions

Does it do purchase orders?

Procurement sits with the construction side for project purchasing. Building stores focus on holdings and issue.

Can we have more than one store?

Yes, items are held per location and moved between them.
