Not designed in the abstract. Every part of this exists because somebody managing a real building needed it and said so.
Building management software has a habit of being written for the person who buys it rather than the people who use it. The result is a system that produces excellent reports and that nobody in the office wants to open.
BuildingSetup has been built the other way round: from the daily work of billing, complaints, parking, staff and handovers, with each part shaped by feedback from real buildings with real residents. The features that exist are the ones somebody needed. The ones that do not exist are the ones nobody asked for.
What we believe
Corrections are normal. Software that assumes nothing will ever be entered wrongly is software that will be worked around.
History is not optional. Disputes arrive late, and a record that has been overwritten cannot settle one.
Your data is yours. If you need it on your own server, or entirely offline, that should be a supported choice rather than an argument.
