Accounting
Money in the right places
Most property accounting problems come from one mistake: treating every rupee that arrives as the same kind of rupee.

What it does
Rent collected for an owner, a service charge paid by a resident, an instalment on a unit sale and the cost of building a tower are four different things. BuildingSetup keeps them apart, so an owner statement means what it says and a building’s results are not quietly inflated by a sale.
Owner statements can be produced and shared for any period, with a printed date on them, because a statement someone was paid against is a document rather than a screen.
- Owner statements for any period, printable and shareable
- A running ledger per unit and per owner
- Tax and withholding configured to your local rules
- Rental income, sale receivables and project cost kept separate
- Charge types and rates you configure, not ones we chose
- Reports that reconcile to what was actually billed and paid
Why it matters
Configured, not hardcoded
Rates, charge types and tax rules are settings you control, changed without waiting for a release.
Multi-currency aware
Amounts carry their currency. Nothing is silently summed across two of them.
Statements that hold up
An owner statement carries the date it was produced, because it will be read months later.
Questions
Does it replace our accounting software?
It gives you the property side in full — billing, collections, owner statements and ledgers. Many customers keep their statutory accounts elsewhere and reconcile from here.
Can we set our own tax rates?
Yes. Rates carry the date they take effect, so changing one today does not rewrite bills you already issued.
Can it handle more than one currency?
Yes. Every amount carries its currency and reporting respects it.
